"Dancing through life..."

From the girl who creates metaphors from anything for everything... I came up with this one during church yesterday. I hope it makes sense (and I can concentrate with "Rent" blasting in the background...)

~~~~~~"Partner Dancing vs. Godly Marriage"~~~~~~
Any sort of partner dancing, be it waltz, lindy hop, salsa, or quick step, relies on the follow (wife) obeying the lead (husband) who must be aware of and try to fit his steps with the music (God). And while many may think that leaves the wife to just be the husband's "slave," that does not work for either dancing or marriage. The lead and follow must be equally matched, as a husband and wife should be equally yoked. The woman adds to the husbands lead with her styling, support, and equal work to create a cohesive partnership; the "two becoming one flesh," if you will. The lead must not just take for granted the woman's follow. His job is not only to lead her, but to make her look good in doing so. Just as a husband is not just to tell his wife what to do, he must work to help her advance in her spiritual growth. As in a marriage, partner dancing requires work, constant learning, collaboration, and compatibility.
I think I had more to it, but it's not coming back to me at the moment. Maybe I'll remember it later...
