"If only I could have a puppy I'd call myself so very lucky"

Today I took the lab I'm dogsitting on an hour and a half walk. Friday we ran three miles in the morning and walked four miles in the evening. I'm gonna miss her when her family comes home, though my preference in dogs would not be a lab. I would like something bigger, smarter, maybe a bit calmer, but still likes going on walks and runs. She's a wonderful dog and almost never barks, but she chews everything and isn't as good of a dog for walking as the German Shepherd or Border Collie I walked at the humane society in college. Well, I have time till I actually do get a dog to figure out what I'm really looking for and want.

Until then, I'll just dream of Over, my gentle Great Dane that lives in my head...

(I also think I want to train my dog in French. It'd be fun.)
