"Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet, eating her "Kurds" and rice."
So, tonight's dinner consisted of wonderfully mushy, sticky white rice with plenty of butter and salt. And the best part was that I ate it with chop sticks! Yay! Well, ate most of the first bowl and all of the second bowl with chop sticks...
Also, mum and I were watching TV... Stuff about Reagan and then the news. They kept talking about the Kurds over in Iraq. I turned to mum and said, "Everytime I hear them say 'Kurds' I think about cheese curds... and Wisconsin... and in the Wisconsinite Dictionary, under 'cheese curds' it describes them as 'cheese pieces that squeak when you eat them', or something like that." My mother responds with, "I keep thinking of Miss Muffet, eating her curds and whey..." That caused me to envision a "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" image of Kurds, complete with turbans, floating in a bowl of white whey... It was quite amusing... We laughed a fair amount about it.
Well, those are the thoughts of tonight. Back to watching TV with mummy.
