One of the greatest musical characters of all time, who I would love to get the chance to play; Aldonza from Man of La Mancha, "The Most Casual Bride of the Murdering Scum of the Earth." Just in her songs she has so much emotion; hurt, anger, sorrow, despair, and at the end of the show love, hope, desire. If I ever do get the chance to play her it'll have to be in some small community theatre, because I could never be good enough to play the lead in a musical in a professional theatre... *sigh* oh well. I can just sing along with the soundtrack for now, I guess.
