quick off-topic...
Today, work was less than satisfactory. I'm not used to being there in the early afternoon. My mind was in the total wrong mode and I made way too many mistakes. Grr-AH!
But it was nice to sit in the cemetary and write a letter to a friend out sculpting in California after work... Relaxing, calming and mind re-setting. Everyone needs friends that can do that, even when almost all the way on the other side of the country. And especially when they were just met a month before never ever seeing them again. It always amazes me how and when people come in and out of our lives. I constantly wonder why I met a certain person, or how I got to know someone, or what was it that made one of us start talking to the other and then make sure we saw each other again. Especially when it comes to this friend...

Thanks for the postcard! It brightened my day. :-)
I'm just finishing up a 6 page letter to a friend who was around for a mere month. (guess who he is)
I missed this in my first comment: You were writing in a cemetary? And that was comforting?
I love being in cemetaries. They are always relaxing and comforting. If I can't get to a cemetary, a beach is the next best thing.
Wow Jane, you win the weird award for the day. I don't think I've ever heard "beach" and "cemetary" together in that context before.
