Reasons why I am a bigger dork and more of a loser than Ken:
Ready for some never before admitted "guilty pleasures"? Here goes...
-First and foremost, I really and truly do enjoy doing laundry. It's just so relaxing...
-Much of the time I prefer to be alone, either reading or working in the darkroom
-I'm (still) obsessed with horses, though much of the time I do a pretty good job of hiding it
-I know way too much about pioneer times (blame it on living in the sticks when growing up)
-I still sometimes want to be a cowgirl...
-I'm still going to be living at home with my parents after the 7th (and I don't mind it, most of the time)
-Blame it on my Scottish heritage, but I really do like men in kilts (and sometimes even just a regular old skirt)
-My top three books/movies are The Princess Bride, The Last Unicorn, and A Walk to Remember
-I enjoy watching bad, teen-chick flicks
-I can and will lecture on and on about art and theatre if you get me started
-I miss making clothes for my doll...
-There is nothing better for relieving stress than a coloring book, a box of crayons and a tape of children's songs (or video of old cartoons...)
-Have you ever seen the live-action Popeye with Robin Williams? I love it and will wander around singing the terrible songs from it
-I listen to Barry Manilow and Kenny Loggins (not as much as I used to, but sometimes)
I think that just hit rock-bottom... I'll let you know if I find any more.
One addition: I am proud to be a bigger dork than a guy who is a Computer Science Engineer and (at least as of a year ago) still plays D&D. Go me! Haha!

Hey! I love doing the (relaxing, theraputic) laundry too!
It's raining, really raining, none of your spotty cloudbursts, for the first time all summer. I turned my music off and am about to lie in the dark listening to the thunder and dropping wet rain.
It was storming yesterday morning. Really storming. I could hear the thunder. Unfortunatly I was stuck in work. But I felt that if I could just go outside and stand, or better yet, run through the storm, my cold would go away and all would be right in the world... *sigh*
and *what* exactly, pray-tell, is dorky and loser-ish about being obsessed with horses? ;-D
love ya --mer
