question.... why do people call me "kiddo"? not that I have a problem with it, just curious...

- How does one define a person? By the things they do? The clothes they wear? The people they hang out with? Who their family is? Where they went to school? What religion they are? What race they are? The thoughts in their head? The feelings in their heart? Or maybe not at all...

I once assumed "kiddo" was a term of endearment until the 400 pound post office clerk called me "kiddo"... scary;)
