Just because I felt like it, a list of some of my favorite places (in no particular order)...

-Cemetaries, mostly European ones, but the ones over here are nice, too
-Beaches, kinda partial to "my" beach... (Lake Forest beach...), but then again, I've never been to the ocean
-Outside, most of the time running or doing something somewhat active
-Chenonceau
-Museums, particularly art museums, like Musee d'Orsay, or the Art Institute of Chicago
-Curled up in bed or on the floor (maybe in a nest of clean laundry) right in a shaft of sunlight coming through the window
-The city
-A big grassy field with lots of blue sky overhead
-Racing on my bike through a summer thunderstorm with the wind slamming the raindrops into my body
-Sitting around the bonfire pit at my house in Deerfield
-My old darkroom in the house in Lake Forest
-Bed, snuggled down under a heavy pile of blankets
-Trains
-Edinburgh, Scotland
-Paris, France

...ahh... the emotions and memories these places evoke... perfect for the greyness of today...
